mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">1.</span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"> </span></span></span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Time.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>You have to find the time, create the time, and make the time to exercise.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Doesn’t have to be a long time either.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Start with 5 or 10 minutes.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Do some jumping jacks, or pushups, or squats, or hand weights.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Nothing too strenuous.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Just something to get you in the habit of making the time for yourself.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Also, figure out realistically how much time you can give to working out.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Can you find time 7 days and week, and if so, will you really want to work out every day?<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Everyone is different.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>For me, I try to work out 5 times a week and let my weekends be my rest days.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Find what works for you.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></div><div class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt 0.5in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">5.</span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"> </span></span></span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Measure and take before and after pictures.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>A lot of people rely on the scale to tell them how well or not they are doing.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>But the scale is far from accurate.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>So, make sure to measure yourself in the beginning of your fitness journey.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I’ve read so many articles of people thinking that they are losing anything because the scale isn’t moving.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>But then you see before and after pictures and measurements and you can tell without any doubt that what you’re doing is in fact paying off.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></div><div class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt 0.5in; Cleanse<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">My experience of the Shakeology cleanse.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I did this cleanse back in October, and have to admit at the time I was a little leery.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>At that point, I had never even tasted Shakeology.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I’d read peoples reviews, and listened to personal friends that had already had it, and just like everything else there were mixed reviews.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>So, I convinced a few family members, and co-workers to start the cleanse with Sue and I.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I have to be completely honest; the first shake was NOT so great.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>We had added frozen fruit, but our concoction was not to our liking….AT ALL.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>So, the 2<sup>nd</sup> shake of the day, we tried the other flavor, and I liked that one more.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It had a great consistency, and the flavor was more like a wheat grass.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Very healthy tasting.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>And for dinner that night, a delicious salad.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>We put a ton of vegetables and a little bit of dressing, gave it better.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>We used the chocolate Shakeology and a half banana.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It was still a little too thick for my likings, but it tasted ok.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I thought for sure by this day I would be hungry, but I was feeling great.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I also had noticed that I slept style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Over the last week or so, I’ve really taken the time to sit back and think about what is really important to me.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Here’s my conclusion.</span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Family.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I honestly have to say that I am who I am because of my family.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I also have to say that over the holidays, I found out that just because you’re blood related, doesn’t make certain people your family.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I know that sounds a little skewed, but it’s a realization that I’ve made, and I’m ok with it.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>And on the flip side, just because they’re not blood related, doesn’t mean they’re NOT family.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Families are just really important and need to not be taken lightly.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I honestly can say that the happiest moment over the holidays was watching Sue’s 2 boys, (16 and 19) and my 8 year old play with my 8 year olds toys the day after Christmas.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It was hilarious.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>And I couldn’t have been more thrilled.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">2<sup>nd</sup>, a home.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Not a house, but a home.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It doesn’t matter if it’s a trailer, and apartment, or a house.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>HOME is where you make it.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It’s the smell of walking in the door and smelling dinner cooking, or hearing kids running around, or noticing that your dog has chewed up some paper.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>And honestly, those are the same things that we take for granted every day.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>We come home from a long day at work, and just want to come home to peace and quiet.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>And I’d be lying to say that I’ve never come home and snapped at my son for just being a kid.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>But when he’s gone, and when Sue’s boys are gone and our house is quiet…it’s nice for a day or two, but after that, it gets too quiet and I miss them.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>So this year, I’m going to love our boys and be a little more patient with them.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Third is loving myself.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>You’ve heard the phrase “you can’t make someone else happy until you make yourself happy”.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I never fully understood this until this year.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>When I am down and not happy about things in my life or myself, it is true that the universe will attract the same type of situations.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>But when I’m working out, and eating well, and treating my body the way I should, I just feel better.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>My health seems better, my relationships seem better, and the things that life throws at me I can handle.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It’s important to me to be healthy in mind, body and spirit.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>So this year, I’m going to get back to working out daily.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I test drove my new workout video last week, Turbo Fire, and I’m hitting it hard tonight and every night forward.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I’m not talking about walking out like a maniac and important to document my journey.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>First, a little about me.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I’m 29 years old and a single mom to an amazing 8 year old son.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I live with Sue, and she has 2 awesome sons, 16 and 19.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>They are all so funny.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>They keep us laughing all the time.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Anyway, I’ve had some health issues and recently been diagnosed with MS.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>But I’ve now decided that I’m going to take control of my life, and become as healthy as I possibly can be with what I’ve been given.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It was killing me to hear my son come in if I was lying down, already assuming that I wasn’t feeling well.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>That’s not the life I want him to see.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>So, from that point forward, I decided to change.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></div><div class="MsoNormal"
